The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) made a recommendation, and the interim administration has agreed to raise the Petrol Price and diesel fuel in response to that recommendation. Over the following two weeks, the new prices will be in effect without any changes.

According to a notice issued by the Ministry of Finance, this indicates that the price of gasoline will increase by Rs2.73 per liter, bringing the total price to Rs275.62 per liter beginning on February 16.

In addition, the cost of high-speed diesel (HSD) is going up by Rs8.37 per liter, which brings the total price to Rs287.33 per liter. The price of gasoline was up by a significant amount of Rs 13.55 per liter, while the price of HSD went up by Rs 2.75 per liter. As a result of this shift, individuals will be required to pay a higher Petrol Price whenever they fill up their automobiles.
